Correct braking needs to be learned. That's why Micro supports safety courses for scooters and kickboards worldwide. In addition to the correct braking technique and safe cornering, the workshops also raise understanding and awareness of the dangers and rules when using these popular means of transportation.
Each lesson lasts 90 minutes and is designed to give riders of all ages the confidence and knowledge they need to ride safely and responsibly — on the way to school, through the city or wherever the ride takes them.

What our safety workshops cover
Whether it's a beginner's session for young children or a more advanced course for experienced riders, every Micro safety workshop covers the essentials of safe and responsible riding:
Correct braking technique — The most important skill every rider needs to learn first. We teach heel-brake control and reactive stopping in a safe environment.
Safe cornering — How to take bends at speed without losing balance or control.
Traffic awareness — Understanding the rules of the road, recognizing hazards and knowing how to react safely in everyday traffic situations.
Protective equipment — Why wearing a helmet and pads matters — and how to wear them correctly.
Micro Kids Day
The Micro Kids Day is our annual event dedicated to getting kids on wheels safely. With scooter tips, tricks and supervised riding practice, it's a hands-on, fun-filled day that combines learning with adventure. Because the best way to learn is by doing — and by having a great time doing it.
Safe riding and sustainable mobility go hand in hand. By building confident, informed riders from an early age, we encourage long-term use of scooters as a healthy, emission-free alternative to cars and motorized vehicles — in cities, on the school run and everywhere in between.
