Promoting Physical Activity and Coordination for Kids!

At Micro, we believe mobility is more than just getting from A to B — it's about enjoying the journey. For kids, that means fresh air, freedom and the kind of movement that builds both body and confidence. Our scooters are designed to grow with children, promoting balance, coordination and motor skills from the very first ride. Additionally, our products encourage kids to go outside in the fresh air, which promotes physical health and development from an early age.

Improved balance and coordination
Our lean-to-steer mechanism means kids don't just ride — they actively steer with their whole body, naturally developing balance and spatial awareness.

Increased physical activity
Scooting to school is an active, fun alternative to sitting in a car or bus. It increases daily movement and sets healthy habits in motion from an early age.

Strengthened muscles
Pushing, balancing and steering engages leg and core muscles in a natural, playful way — no gym required.

Improved mental focus
Starting the day with physical activity helps kids arrive at school with a clearer, more focused mind.

Stress relief
The wind in their hair and the freedom of scooting can be incredibly calming, helping to reduce stress and anxiety before the school day even begins.

Developed confidence
Mastering a scooter — from wobbly first push to confident rider — teaches kids to take on new challenges and trust themselves.

Pediatric Physiotheraphy

In addition to the mentioned benefits, our scooters are also used in pediatric physiotheraphy for children and adolescents. Physiotherapists at University Children’s Hospital Zurich share their experiences using Micro Scooters:

“The seriously ill children in the children’s hospital, for example in oncology, can cover a greater distance in the house with little effort using the Micro Scooter and are therefore independently mobile. They have fun, improve their strength and endurance and experience a bit of normalcy in a very difficult life situation.”

“In pediatric physiotherapy, we support the motor development of a child through various offers. This  also includes allowing children who are physically restricted to experience and learn how to move independently and age-appropriately, such as riding a scooter. Our patients from all fields have a lot of fun with this activity and for us, the Micro Scooter is an important child-friendly aid to improve the strength, endurance, and participation of the child.”
