For over 25 years, Micro has made a lasting impact on the development of urban mobility through pioneering innovations — from the world-famous foldable aluminum Micro Scooter, to the revolutionary Scooter Luggage with its fold-out kickboard, to the Microlino, the world's smallest electric city car.
True to our vision of a "better urban lifestyle", we now offer over 100 different mobility products for kids, teens and adults, and have established ourselves as the global market leader in the premium segment. Every year, we launch five to seven new products — often breaking new ground. As a result, we are always one step ahead of our competitors.
“Because we have years of experience in developing and producing our products, and because we do nothing but work every day to constantly develop Micro and bring new innovations to the market, we have succeeded in consistently maintaining and strengthening our market leadership position,” reveals inventor and owner Wim Ouboter. And he adds:

Recognition that speaks for itself
In 2020, Fast Company ranked Micro the 5th most innovative company in Europe — a recognition previously awarded to brands like Apple, Novartis and Spotify.
That same year, Oliver and Merlin Ouboter were named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list, which honors young innovators and entrepreneurs shaping the future of business and society.
The 2025 launch of the Rock & Go has already been nominated for the Focus Open International Design Award, the German Top 10 Toy Award, and the Toy of the Year 2026 Award by The Toy Foundation.
